If you are a Tucows reseller "Accept" the
agreement
and you will be purchasing Tucows Digital
Certificates in a flash.
If you are not
already a Tucows reseller, you will not be able
to purchase Tucows Digital Certificates until
you have signed up as a RSP on the OpenSRS.org
web-site. This can be accomplished by following
the "Become an RSP" link on the www.opensrs.org
website.
OpenSRS is Tucows Product
Delivery Platform. OpenSRS was initially
designed to facilitate the registration of .com,
.net, and .org domain names. The delivery of
Tucows Digital Certificates uses the same
platform. Therefore, you will be required to
sign up as a .com, .net and .org reseller before
being able to resell Tucows Digital
Certificates.
The ability to resell
Tucows Digital Certificates is built version
2.32 and higher of the OpenSRS client code. This
means that you will very easily be able to
integrate the sale of Tucows Digital
Certificates onto your web site. Also, true to
the principles of OpenSRS, the client code is
open source. Therefore you are free to make your
site look and feel and give it the branding you
see fit. We will be making marketing materials
available for you that you are free to use but
not obliged to use.
The client code is
presently available at the www.opensrs.org web
site. Once signed on as a Tucows reseller and
having engaged the Tucows Digital Certificates
functionality, as explained above, the client
code will interact with the OpenSRS platform and
you will be able to sell
certificates.
Please see the White
Paper: Introduction and Implementation of Tucows
Web Certificates for more detailed
