No, we are only responsible for DE-domains. If you want to register a domain below COM, NET or ORG, then you can mandate
one of the members of CORE.

When can we expect to have the European Top Level Domain .eu?
The European Commission has decided to support the establishment of a new top level domain .eu in order
to promote e-commerce in Europe. At the moment the appropriate panels are still in the process of evaluation. End
users will not be able to register .eu domains before at least summer 2001.

the Commission to the European Parliament and the Council.
