You can register a domain via our service DENICdirect for 116 Euro per domain for the
first year and 58 Euro for every following year.
You are owner of a domain as long as you pay the yearly maintenance fees and do not close the
domain. Please note our Registrierungsbedingungen (German only).
Please note that DENICdirect only registers a domain name for you. We do not offer webspace, email
or Internet access. These services are available from Internet Service Providers, who can also register
domain names for you. If you already have webspace and/or email, you can order our product DENICsmall
and give us the respective IP address(es).
If you do not have webspace, email or other services, you need to find a provider, for example in our member list. According to our statute we cannot make any recommendations as to
which of our members is the cheapest or best provider. Thank you very much for your understanding.
When calculating our prices we first need to make sure that DENIC eG as a non-profit organisation operates in a cost
covering way in every area of business. A registration via DENICdirect incurs higher expenses than the registrations we
receive from our members. For example we have to individually test the specified nameservers and cannot make any kind of a "default
entry".
Depending on the services offered every provider creates his own pricing structures, which cannot be influenced by us.
Therefore we cannot estimate the costs you should have to expect when dealing with a provider.

The duration of this process depends mainly on the completeness and correctness of your domain order. If
the domain order is signed and can be processed without re-consulting with you, then we register your
domain within a few days. If any data is missing or wrong, then we have to get back to you and the
process is delayed. Therefore, please note the comments for the individual topics on the form and read
the Registrierungsbedingungen.
Important: our online registration form is not a binding order, it
only helps to speed up data entry. Every order must be signed and sent to DENICdirect via letter or fax.
