How do I register an AM domain name?
You should submit an application. There are two applications: for residents and non-residents of Armenia. Depending on your residence status you should choose the right application to complete. The first step in completing the application is checking whether your chosen domain name is not already registered: if it not, the system will ask you for your particulars. If your chosen domain name is already registered or applied for, you can't apply for it.
Do I have to completely fill in the application?
Yes, we need the requested information to decide on your application and to contact you when necessary. The only fields you may omit are: fax numbers, organization name(s), and third and fourth name servers.
Can I use _, ?, or ! in domain names?
No, you can use only Latin letters, digits and the dash (minus sign).
How long it takes to register an AM domain name?
We will decide on your application in maximum three business days after the receipt; then
you will be notified of the decision and asked to submit the registration fee. As soon as we
receive the registration fee your domain name will be registered and activated.
May I pay in advance?
No, you may only pay after you receive request for payment from us.
When I should pay for the domain name which has been accepted for registration?
You have one (1) calendar month to pay the registration fees in full.
When I should pay the renewal fees for an already registered domain name?
You should pay the renewal fees before the expiry date of your domain name; if you do not, your domain name delegation will be suspended for one year. If you don't pay the renewal fees in one calendar year, your domain name will be cancelled and made available for registration by any other entity.
