INSTRUCTION for second level domain names registration under top level domain .BY

1. Check domain name for availability. Domain name must be at least of two characters. It is recomended to use name of your organisation as domain name.

2. If requested domain name available for registration, fill given request form and send it to top level domain administrator.

3. Administrator will send to you necessary forms (request and template-appendix). You should fill them during 3 days on the official sheet of your organisation, ratify it by seal and signature of head of organisation and send it by courier or by registered letter. The address is 17a Kalvaryskaya str., Minsk, Belarus, 220004 (template-appendix is executed in double).
Note: The information about registrants of domain names in the BY zone is not divulged and not published without official permission of the owner. (Reason: Civil Code of Republic of Belarus art. 140, 1010, 1011, 1012)

4. Decision about registration of your domain name will be made during 14 days.

5. If decision is positive, you should enter an agreement with the Open Contact during 30 days for making technical measures for registration and further technical support of doamin name. In case of not making an agreement during the pointed term, submited request is canceled and claimed domain name is treated available for registration by other organisations.
