Answer:	To register a third level domain (*.COM.KZ *.NET.KZ, *.ORG.KZ, *.EDU.KZ, *.GOV.KZ) it is necessary to fill in the same registration form as for registration of the second level domain (*.KZ). In case of registration *.NET.KZ, *.ORG.KZ, *.EDU.KZ, *.GOV.KZ it is necessary to grant the appropriate documents certifying an accessory of the registrant to ISP, noncommercial, educational or to government agencies. In case of registration of a domain name *.COM.KZ any additional documents are not required. The application send to the address: hostmaster@nic.kz.
Question:	I want to register a domain name under KZ is it necessary to have ISP in Kazakhstan?
Answer:	No, there's no need your ISP to be located in Kazakhstan.
Question:	Yesterday we send a template form to change the domain info. How long it usually takes the changes to be made?
Answer:	The changes in registration data occurs in 24 for hours after the request acceptation. After we have received your template for modification the robot sends you a response that request was accepted and put into the queue. After the changes was made you receive a report about the modification.
Question:	The status of our company was changed and we are going to update some registration data such as company name, address and etc...
Answer:	If the status of the company was changed, the procedure of transfering domain name occurs as written in 5 question. If there`s the changes in address, it is necessary to fill in a domain-template form and send it to hostmaster@nic.kz
Question:	I have got some domains with your ccTLD, and we want to transfer them to another owner. Could you inform me if it is possible and what are the requiries, cost and policy?
Answer:	Two separate Registration Agreements are required to transfer a domain name. The current domain name holder completes a Registration Agreement for deletion of the domain name. The legal entity seeking to obtain that domain name completes a new Registration Agreement and submits both Registration Agreements in one Email to KazNIC. The following procedures apply: - The current Administrative Contact/Agent must complete Items 0 through 2 of a Registration Agreement . Item 0a should be marked "D" or "Delete". This Registration Agreement should be Emailed to the legal entity seeking to obtain the domain name. The subject line must read "Transfer Domain" and specify the domain name. The new Registrant for the domain name should complete a separate Registration Agreement with Item 0a reflecting "N" or "New" and all other Items completed as appropriate. - The new Registrant should append the New Registration Agreement to the Email from the current domain holder and forward the joined Registration Agreements as a single submission to: hostmaster@nic.kz. If the current Administrative Contact/Agent no longer has access to the Internet, a fax on organization letterhead and signed by an officer with title identified and with the authority to legally bind the organization listed as the Registrant, authorizing the transfer may be sent to KazNIC and the recipient. If the recipient of the domain name does not have Internet access, the recipient can obtain an Email account through the ISP selected to support the domain name. The Email header from both parties must be intact to provide evidence of appropriate authorization; the email addresses must be identical to those in the current WHOIS record for the contacts unless alternate authentication methods (Crypt Password or PGP) are used. If it is not clear that the transfer is authorized by the current holder, the Registration Agreements will not be processed and will be returned.

Answer:	Yes, the local presence is not required, you are to fill in template form for registering a domain name and send it to hostmaster@nic.kz

Answer:	No it is not possible. You can receive DNS from your ISP or from the third party.

Answer:	To change the DNS info it is necessary to fill in domain-template form and send it to hostmaster@nic.kz
Question:	Which authentification schemes other than MAIL-FROM are currently available?
Answer:	Now also available PGP and CRYPT-PW authentification schemes.
Question:	I are in the process of changing our IP addresses for our primary and secondary nameservers. Can you let us know the process to update the information?
Answer:	To change the DNS info it is necessary to fill in host-template form and send it to hostmaster@nic.kz Changes to a Host record will be made if it appears that the modification request has come from a reasonable source. This source may be the Contact of the Host or a listed Contact on the Host's parent Domain record.

Answer:	To change contact info it is nessecary to fill in contact-template form and send it to hostmaster@nic.kz Changes to a contact record will be made if it appears that the modification request has come from a reasonable source.

Answer:	The whole information about registered KZ domain names is maintained in the database of KazNIC and it is available in Internet on addresses: WHOIS service: whois.nic.kz WEB-address: http://www.nic.kz/cgi-bin/whois

Answer:	The minimum number of characters is 4 and the maximum is 63 characters including .KZ
